Growing up as a competitive dancer in the St.Louis area, Anna’s love of ballet drove her to alter her focus and begin her ballet training at COCA under the direction of Antonio and Kirven Douthit-Boyd. By her senior year of high school school, Anna moved to Phoenix to join Ballet Arizona’s Studio Company under the direction of Alecia Good-Borsow and Maria Simonetti where she performed for the next three seasons. She performed  in original and classical works by former artistic director, Ib Andersen, as well as Balanchine works, and works by renowned choreographers. Anna has since moved back to the Lou and has fallen in love with the joys of sharing her passion with next generation. This is will be Anna’s first season with DPU and cannot wait to spread the love of ballet to yet another group of talented students!
