Kaylie Kruse
Artistic Staff

Kaylie started dancing at the age of three in Saratoga Springs, New York. At the age of 6 her and her family moved to Missouri. She began competing as a competition dancer at the age of 7 and has been competing ever since.  She did her first solo, Inside of Me, when she was eight years old. She won her first title when she was 12 years old. At the age of 13 Kaylie came to DPU and has felt at home ever since. Kaylie has since won numerous titles and top overalls. At the age of 16 Kaylie began self choreographing her own solos, and has now choreographed 3 solos for herself and won numerous awards for each. Kaylie is now attending Maryville University where she was accepted into their freshman direct physical therapy program that consists of 6 and a half years of school to get her doctorates.

Acro I

A beginning level Acrobatics class that is designed for dancers with little to no gymnastics experience. Dancers will learn correct body alignment and basic Acrobatic skills.

Mini Hip Hop

A movement based class that focuses on fun, energetic stylized dancing. Dancers will learn fundamentals of isolations, grooves and a wide variety of backgrounds of the style through progressions across the floor, combinations in center and freestyle skills. Seedlings/Blossoms

 A 60 minute combination class teaching Tap, Jazz and Ballet fundamentals. This class focuses on strength, coordination and creative movement. Accommodates dancers 5-7 years of age. Dancers require black tie up tap shoes and black jazz shoes for this class.
